Project Description

In 2024, Zhonghui Container House successfully completed a significant project in Chile, providing an innovative flat pack container housing solution for a mining camp. These modular container houses are recognized for their flexibility, portability, and adaptability in off-grid living environments, and highlights Zhonghui’s expertise in design, planning, and execution, demonstrating our ability to deliver high-quality housing solutions in challenging environments.

As the primary contractor, Zhonghui Container House managed the entire process from initial design to final installation. We began by sending a team of professionals to conduct a thorough site survey. Based on the specific needs of the mining camp, we developed detailed design drawings.

Zhonghui Container Houses are constructed with high-quality steel, offering superior strength and durability. In addition, we used premium insulation materials to ensure excellent thermal performance. This combination of materials ensures that Zhonghui’s houses remain comfortable for workers, regardless of the extreme climate conditions that often prevail in remote mining areas.

When the design was completed, Zhonghui Container House coordinated with local partners to ensure timely material procurement and transportation. Our team handled the manufacturing and pre-assembly of the containers, utilizing modular design to significantly reduce construction time. The entire 500-unit camp was completed in just a few weeks, featuring:

300 units for worker dormitories,

100 units for offices,

100 units for kitchens, dining halls, and recreational spaces such as gyms, lounges, and meeting rooms.

Zhonghui Container House placed particular emphasis on the quality of life for the workers. Each dormitory was fully furnished with high-quality furniture, televisions, and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable living environment even in remote, harsh conditions.
